yello! offers competitive Wanaka transfer prices for seamless transportation in the Wanaka, Queenstown and Cromwell region. Whether you’re travelling solo or with a large group, we accommodate everyone and everything, including luggage and oversized items.

Our all-wheel-drive vans are equipped for the mountains and rough terrain/road access, ensuring safe and comfortable travel in all weather conditions.

To ensure adequate space for you and your belongings, please inform us of the number of luggage items and any oversized items, such as skis, snowboards, or bikes, when booking.

Please Note:

The quoted costs (except Cromwell) are for travel over the Crown Range. If the Crown Range is not open or Snow Chains are required, then:

  • For Travel to/from Wanaka there is an additional $40.00 charge for travel via Cromwell and State Highway 6 or over the Crown Range using chains
  • For Travel to/from Cardrona Apartments or Snow Farm there is an additional $85.00 charge for travel via Cromwell and State Highway 6 or over the Crown Range using chains.

If both the Crown Range and State Highway 6 via Cromwell are closed or severely delayed, then:

  • If you choose to cancel, we will offer a full refund, less unrecoverable costs and reasonable transaction costs.
  • If you choose to travel at a different time and/or date, we will transfer the booking if we are able to do so. There may be an additional charge for unrecoverable costs.

*Baggage:
1 standard checked bag and 1 carry on bag per person included in the fare.

*Excess Baggage:
Any additional or oversized baggage items (eg ski bags or bikes) will be charged at $10 per additional item.

Airport Pickups

International Arrivals:
Exit the Arrival area into the terminal public area.
Stay in the terminal building and walk past the Cafe.
Follow signs to the Check In area.
Exit the building through the door opposite the Check In Area marked Transfers | Lockers.
Your vehicle will be at the end of the building on the right.
Look for a Grey Van, a Grey SUV with a black roof box, or a yello! Branded vehicle.

Domestic Arrivals:
Exit the Baggage Claim Area and go back through the terminal.
Stay in the terminal and follow signs to the Check In area.
Exit the building through the door opposite the Check In Area marked Transfers | Lockers.
Your vehicle will be at the end of the building on the right.
Look for a Grey Van, a Grey SUV with a black roof box, or a yello! Branded vehicle.

Direct Ski Field Transfers:
For direct ski field transfers (eg Cardrona or Snow Farm/Southern Hemisphere proving Ground (SHPG)), If you would like to pre-order grocery supplies, we recommend that you use the click-and-collect service from Woolworths Supermarket, 30 Grant Road, Frankton,
For supermarket stops which take longer than 15 minutes, additional wait time will be charged.

Airport Dropoffs:
Your driver will pick you up from your home or accommodation at the time you choose when making your booking, and will drop you right outside the main entrance for Domestic/International Departures.
